Welcome to the 2025 Industrial Sector Operations Conference at Caesars Palace.

It is an honor and a privilege to welcome you to the 2025 Boilermakers Industrial Sector Operations Conference.

With Boilermakers gathered from across the United States and Canada, this is one of the most significant and impactful educational and networking events our union hosts. Thank you for taking the time to join us and for helping us make this year’s conference a special success.

While you are here, I challenge all of you to find as many opportunities as you can to participate: Meet your union brothers and sisters, the staff and speakers who are here; share ideas, ask questions and fully engage in workshops and discussions. Your active participation will not only enrich your conference experience, but it will also enrich the experience all your Brothers and Sisters in attendance as well.

I hope you will find the plenary sessions and workshop presentations interesting and motivating; that you will learn and discover resources and helpful tools to support you in your work as a lodge leader; and that you will leave here inspired for our union’s future. Thank you for the work you do every day to contribute to the success of your local lodge and the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, and thank you for being the most important part of our annual conference. It is my honor to join International President Simmons in welcoming you to the 2025 Industrial Sector Operations Conference.

This conference is my favorite Boilermaker event. For more than a decade, I’ve been fortunate to be part of the team that plans this event. I can tell you, firsthand, that each year, we carefully evaluate the previous year’s feedback forms considering your input as lodge leaders and what you believe is most important to support the union and the work you do at your local lodge.

Based on feedback from last year’s conference and listening to your needs, our plenary speakers, presenters and International staff have worked hard to create an experience we hope you will find enjoyable, informative and, most importantly, useful.

At the conclusion of the conference, you will have an opportunity to share your ideas, honest opinions and offer your feedback from this event. I ask you to please take the time to fill out a feedback form so we can continue to improve and deliver the best possible ISO Conferences in the coming years.
