Anthony Howell

Anthony Howell is Administrative Assistant to the International President and is the Executive Director of Construction Sector Operations. He is a member of Local 37 (New Orleans, Louisiana). Prior to beginning his career with the Boilermakers in 1999, he interned with a local police department, owned a video store and then worked in a fabrication shop making offshore deck equipment. He then worked on the tools for Local 37 for 15 years before becoming a business agent. In 2019, he became District Manager and then was appointed as an International Rep. He served as a business agent for Local 2020 until he was tapped to serve as ED-CSO in May of 2024. Howell earned a computer operators certificate from the Baton Rouge School of Computers and is a School For Workers graduate.
