Ben Heurung

Ben Heurung is a 15-plus year member of Boilermakers Local 104 (Seattle) and has been on the International staff since September 2024. He is currently an International Representative for the Industrial Sector of Operations. Heurung currently serves on the Northwest Metal Crafts Trust Fund and on the Industrial Trades Technology Advisory Committee for Olympic Peninsula College, and he serves as the current President of the Metal Trades Council of Portland & Vicinity. Prior to joining International staff, Heurung was the L-104 Assistant Business Manager and Western Region General Representative for the Metal Trades Department AFL-CIO. He serves on multiple labor councils including Cowlitz Whakiakum, SW Washington and the Northwest Oregon Labor Council.
