International Brotherhood of Boilermakers
Miguel Fonseca is an International Rep. He began his Boilermaker career in 1994 as a forger in Batavia, Illinois, and served as a steward, trustee, vice president and president of Local 1600. In 2016, he was appointed to serve as ISO International Rep. He has covered all areas of the United States and currently focuses on the Great Lakes and Southeast Areas. Fonseca has completed the Basic and Advanced School for Workers programs, as well as AFL-CIO arbitration and steward training and Boilermaker organizing training. He is a U.S. Marine Corps. veteran and is bi-lingual in English and
Spanish.
