Richard MacIntosh

Richard MacIntosh is an International Rep for the Construction Sector in Canada. A member of Local 359 (Burnaby, British Columbia) since 1980, MacIntosh was a steward on the tools and served on the lodge’s executive board for 17 years, holding the offices of recording secretary and president. He also worked as an instructor for 16 years with the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where he served as a steward and chair of the bargaining unit for vocational instructors. He is a graduate of the Harvard Trade Union Program. MacIntosh is the past president of the Federal Government Dockyard & Trades Labour Liaison Committee composed of international reps from various labor unions, including both AFL-CIO and independent unions—which assists and advises the Federal Government Dockyard Trades and Labour councils.
