Labor Union Consultant
Ken Kroeger is a Labor Union Consultant, teaching classes to unions around the country. In order to sharpen his skills as an instructor for his union brethren, Kroeger began taking classes at the National Labor College, a move that led to further expansion of his teaching career. Although he retired in July 2013, Kroeger continued his studies with the NLC and earned his degree in Labor Education in April 2014. His senior paper “Distinctive Ways Union Members Become Aware of Unions and Distinctive Reasons Union Members Become Activists in Unions Based on Generations” was recognized by the United Association of Labor Education as one of three finalists for outstanding student paper. He also received one of the Distinguished Paper Awards from the NLC at the Closing Convocation and 16th Commencement exercise.
