Gary Powers

Gary Powers is a 33-year member of Boilermakers Local 104 (Seattle) and has been on International staff since May of 2009. He is a graduate of the 2010 Harvard Trade Union Program and currently serves the membership of the Brotherhood as the Director of Compliance and Training and Shipbuilding and Metal Trades Services. Powers also serves the membership as a Labor Trustee on two West Coast Health and Welfare Trust Funds and the Boilermakers National Annuity Trust. Prior to joining International staff, Powers served the Local 104 membership as Business Manager/Secretary-Treasurer, was an officer on the Puget Sound Metal Trades Council and served as the Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the Pacific Coast Metal Trades District Council. He previously served the membership of Local 104 in the positions of Recording Secretary, Dispatcher and Assistant Business Manager.
